Custom Transportation FAQs
What is Custom Transportation?
Custom Transportation is designed for trips that do not fit one of Brian Head Drivers’ standard transportation options. It allows you to request a more specialized itinerary with custom pickup and destination locations, optional stops, one-way or round-trip travel, specific dates and times, passenger and equipment details, and special requirements.
If your trip already matches one of our established airport or local transportation routes, Standard Booking is usually the best option.
How is Custom Transportation different from Standard Booking?
Standard Booking is designed for established Brian Head Drivers routes and services with predefined booking options. These trips can be reserved directly through the standard booking system, and round-trip transportation can be selected during the booking process.
Custom Transportation is intended for trips requiring additional planning, such as different pickup or destination locations, multiple stops, specialized itineraries, unusual equipment or passenger requirements, or other needs not accommodated by the standard booking options.
Custom Transportation provides an estimated price first. Brian Head Drivers then reviews the request for routing, scheduling, vehicle requirements, and availability before approval. Submitting a custom request does not immediately reserve transportation.
Should I use Standard Booking or Custom Transportation?
Use Standard Booking when your trip fits one of the established transportation options already offered on our website. This is the fastest and simplest way to reserve one of our standard routes.
Use Custom Transportation when you need a different pickup or destination, multiple stops, a specialized itinerary, unusual equipment or passenger requirements, or another trip configuration that is not available through Standard Booking.

What types of trips can I request?
Custom Transportation can be used for one-way trips, round trips, multi-stop itineraries, airport transportation, hotel or resort transfers, and other specialized transportation needs.
Currently, the entire trip must remain within Utah. Both the pickup location and final destination must be in Utah, and Custom Transportation cannot currently be used for trips beginning or ending in another state.

Is the price shown by the quote tool final?
No. The price shown by the Custom Transportation tool is an estimated quote based on the information you provide.
Brian Head Drivers reviews your itinerary, scheduling, availability, vehicle requirements, and other trip details before final approval. If an adjustment is necessary, we will let you know before payment is required.
Your transportation is not confirmed until the request has been approved and full payment has been completed.
Is my trip reserved when I submit the request?
No. Submitting a Custom Transportation request does not reserve a vehicle or guarantee availability.
Brian Head Drivers will review your request and typically respond within 24 hours with approval, questions, or any necessary adjustments.
Once approved, you will receive instructions to complete payment. Your reservation is confirmed only after approval and full payment.
How far in advance should I submit my request?
We recommend submitting Custom Transportation requests at least 72 hours before your requested pickup time.
Requests submitted 24–72 hours before pickup may still be submitted, but are considered short-notice requests and require additional review before they can be approved.
Requests less than 24 hours before pickup cannot be submitted through the Custom Transportation quote system.
Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.
How long will it take to receive a response?
Brian Head Drivers typically reviews Custom Transportation requests within 24 hours of submission.
Depending on the itinerary, we may approve the request, ask for additional information, or propose an adjustment before the trip can be confirmed.
For time-sensitive requests, remember that submitting a request does not hold a vehicle or guarantee availability.
When do I pay?
No payment is collected when you initially submit a Custom Transportation request.
After your trip has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a payment request showing the date and time by which payment must be completed. Full payment is required to confirm the reservation.
Payment must be completed no later than 12 hours before pickup. An unpaid request will expire when its payment deadline is reached.
Can I request a round trip or add multiple stops?
Yes. The Custom Transportation tool supports both one-way and round-trip transportation.
Round trips can include their own return pickup location, destination, date, time, and requested stops. You can also add up to three requested stops per trip leg.
Enter your itinerary as accurately as possible so we can properly evaluate the route, timing, and vehicle requirements.
How do you determine which vehicle will be used?
Vehicle selection depends on passenger count, luggage and equipment, itinerary, road conditions, vehicle availability, and other trip requirements.
Brian Head Drivers will determine an appropriate vehicle or vehicle combination when reviewing your request.
If you have a specific vehicle-related requirement, include it with your request and we will determine whether it can be accommodated.
Can you accommodate larger groups?
The online Custom Transportation tool is designed for groups of up to 10 passengers and may use more than one vehicle when necessary.
For groups larger than 10 passengers, contact Brian Head Drivers so we can review the trip and determine whether an appropriate transportation arrangement is available.
Can I bring luggage, skis, snowboards, golf clubs, or other equipment?
Yes. When requesting your quote, tell us how many passengers are traveling and what luggage or equipment you will be bringing.
This includes carry-on bags, large suitcases, skis, snowboards, golf clubs, mobility devices, and other oversized items.
Accurate quantities help us determine an appropriate vehicle configuration and available cargo space for your trip.
Do you provide child safety or booster seats?
No. Brian Head Drivers does not provide child safety or booster seats. Customers may bring and use their own appropriate child safety or booster seats.
Please include children in your passenger count and indicate that you will be bringing the required seat when completing your request.
Can you accommodate wheelchairs or mobility devices?
Our vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps and cannot transport a passenger while the passenger remains seated in a wheelchair.
Foldable or otherwise stowable wheelchairs and mobility devices may be transported when they can be safely secured in the vehicle’s cargo area.
Brian Head Drivers personnel cannot lift, carry, or physically transfer passengers. A passenger requiring physical assistance entering or exiting the vehicle must have someone in their party available to provide that assistance.
Please identify mobility equipment and accessibility requirements when submitting your request so we can determine whether our service can safely meet your needs.
Can I change my trip after it has been approved?
Contact Brian Head Drivers as soon as possible if you need to change your reservation.
Changes to the date, time, itinerary, passengers, equipment, or other trip details are subject to availability and may change the price.
After payment, changes that reduce the original reservation or service level may not be permitted. Additional services or upgrades may be possible when availability allows.
What happens if weather or road conditions affect my trip?
Transportation in Southern Utah can be affected by snow, ice, road closures, traffic, and changing mountain conditions. Routes, timing, or service may need to be adjusted when conditions require it.
Safety and legal road access take priority. Brian Head Drivers will communicate with you if conditions materially affect your scheduled transportation.
What if my trip is unusual or the quote tool cannot accommodate it?
Custom Transportation currently requires both the pickup location and final destination to be within Utah. If your itinerary falls outside the capabilities of the online quote tool, contact Brian Head Drivers and we can determine whether another available service is appropriate.
Does Brian Head Drivers provide Custom Transportation outside Utah?
Not yet. Custom Transportation is currently limited to trips that begin and end within Utah. Both the pickup location and final destination must be in Utah.
For example, a trip from Brian Head to Salt Lake City can be requested through Custom Transportation, while a trip from Brian Head to Las Vegas or Las Vegas to Brian Head cannot currently be submitted through the system.
Brian Head Drivers is working toward expanding Custom Transportation to include trips beginning or ending in Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and Idaho in the future. Until that expansion is available, all Custom Transportation trips must begin and end within Utah.
What happens after I submit my Custom Transportation request?
After submission, Brian Head Drivers reviews your itinerary, vehicle requirements, scheduling, and availability. We typically respond within 24 hours.
If additional information or an adjustment is needed, we will contact you before approval. If the request is approved, you will receive a payment request with a payment deadline.
Once full payment is completed, your transportation is confirmed and your final reservation details will be provided.
